COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The implementation of community projects should aim to improve the quality of life of the target group. It also focuses on strengthening the local community so that it can move and act collectively to handle the socioeconomic problems experienced.

Among the main focuses of project implementation, the following criteria should be highlighted:

​

  • Eradicating poverty and isolation among communities;

  • Increase local community self-determination;

  • Solving social problems through "self-help";

  • Create a loving society;

  • Overcome dissatisfaction with appropriate action

Participants who wish to join virtual presentation could use this guideline for video making. Video duration must not exceed 5 minutes

Examples of community projects are as follows:

  • Projects related to community economic improvement

  • Skills training project

  • Social education project

  • Spiritual education project

  • Community service projects

  • Other related community projects

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

  • Participation is open to academia and students at the school or IPTA/IPTS level, as well as government or non-government bodies or associations.

  • 3 to 7 members in one group

  • Contested projects must involve selected communities

  • Projects are not necessarily tied to an academic structure

  • The project must meet the description of "Community project" set by the organizer

JUDGING CRITERIA

The best projects will be judged on the following elements:

  • Originality of the project

  • Project rationale

  • Project impact

  • Commercial potential

  • Creativity of presentation
